Spend a lot of quiet time thinking about this quote. See if it changes the way you feel about adversity--both in your past and what you'll face in the future.

The most discouraging times in your life are when you’re putting in effort and not progressing. There is a balance of pushing aggressively towards your goals AND having the patience to see progress.
As you can see in the video I made about being aggressively patient, the first thing you need to do is set realistic milestone for progress--21-day, 90-day, 1-year, or 10-years, depending on the goal. Your level of urgency, effort, and patience will dictate your success, and all three are equally important.
"Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all." --Dale Carnegie
