Pbd's 5 moves for the week
July 24, 2021
1. Reflect

“When you’re young, your potential is infinite. You might do anything, really. You might be Einstein. You might be DiMaggio. Then you get to an age when what you might be gives way to what you have been. You weren’t Einstein. You weren’t anything. That’s a bad moment.” -the 2002 film Confessions of a Dangerous Mind

Your Move

Get honest about feeling regret. Allow yourself to feel angry or disappointed about your current truth. Then, use that pain as fuel to create your "future truth" and take the consistent action required to create it. Unless you get clear on who you want to be and give 100% to your own mission, expect to feel bitterness and envy.

2. Stat of the week

To get the most out of any commercial or residential real estate transaction (as a buyer or a seller), you must understand the unspoken code amongst realtors.

Your Move

Ask the question: What can I do to make sure that the realtor is on my side? One quick tip: emphasize how important of a referral source you are. You can learn more in this short video.

4. Read

Why it's so easy to root for Giannis by Mike Vaccaro of The NY Post. The NBA will attract new audiences and stop being as divisive of a brand because of champion and Finals MVP Giannis.

Your Move

Appreciate what a good person we have as the face of the NBA (in my opinion). Study his work ethic, loyalty, and attitude to become a person worthy of such admiration.

5. Perspective

The privilege of life. We are the luckiest generation alive. Don't let the media convince you that it's the worst. What's needed is love, gratitude, perspective, and the ability to question nonsense. Share on twitter

Your Move

Go to YouTube to watch the eulogy that Phoenix Suns coach Monty Williams gave in 2016 after the tragic death of his wife. What he said about forgiveness gave me chills.
