The hardest thing a leader can find is a killer who embodies your principles and sets the tone for your organization. Belichick had Brady. Pop had Duncan. Phil had MJ and then Kobe. Gates had Ballmer. Go find yours.
A killer (aka flag carrier or rockstar) at the top drives the entire company and sets the standards for everyone. Find this person, cherish this person, and continue to drive them.
Don't confuse love with who you give your attention to. Don't treat everyone the same because everyone is wired differently.
