Pbd's 5 moves for the week
April 30, 2022
1. Reflect

To me, not chasing greatness is being disloyal to God, my father, and my kids.

Your Move

Decide what loyalty means to you--and who you are disappointing when you're not loyal to giving your best.

2. Stat of the week

Price is only an issue in the absence of value. When people tell you they don't have the money, all that means is you have to present enough value.

Your Move

If you're getting price objections or having problems closing, the problem isn't your closing! Instead of learning fancy traps or ploys to "close", get better at asking questions, uncovering needs, and offering solutions to problems. Do those three things, and the close is automatic.

3. Strategize

Do you keep telling the story of how hard your life is? What you say impacts how you think and vice versa. Be very intentional about the stories you tell and the people you share them with.

Your Move

Change your narrative and change your mindset. Rather than tell stories that paint you as the victim, tell stories about how you have grown. If you're a parent, ask and answer the question, "What do you want your kid looking up to?"

4. Read

A short video of Chazz Palmentiri reminding us that you can't bring someone up who doesn't want to go up.

Your Move

Only help people who want to change. Avoid toxic people like the plague. It gets repeated so often because it's true: You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.

5. Perspective

The killers who are in your circle. These people set a high bar and show you what it means to level up.

Your Move

Do an inventory of the people in your life. Let go of the people dragging you down and lock on to the people whose life you want to emulate.
