Pbd's 5 moves for the week
March 5, 2023
1. Reflect

Within your organization, you have to embrace conflict and deliver incredible hospitality. It's not one or the other; it's a delicate balance.

Your Move

The more you raise your standards and cater to your team's needs, the more you can also challenge them.

2. Stat of the week

You have to train people on learning how to lose and learning how to win. When you win, you think you walk on water and know it all. When you lose, you lose confidence and beat yourself up. A leader knows what to do in both scenarios.

Your Move

When you build people up, you must end with the statement with an IF. You can't just say, "This guy is going to be one of the best." Instead, say, "This guy is going to be one of the best IF he stays hungry after his best month, IF he continues to grow, IF he continues to invest in personal growth."

3. Strategize

The art of persuasion is asking the best questions. What makes you pissed off about the world? Who doubted you? Who do you wake up in the morning fired up to prove wrong?

Your Move

Ask others these questions to find out what moves them. Ask yourself these questions to find out what moves you!

4. Read

I believe in reading the best books over and over again. You can see my list of Top 100 Books and add them to your library.

Your Move

Make getting better a habit. If you're not a big reader, listen to audio books. Either way, you have to keep expanding your knowledge base.

5. Perspective

People around you who think big. These people are the biggest magnets in the world. If you are close to one, stay close. If you are one, you will magnetize people to you. I firmly believe that being a big thinker is my number one edge.

Your Move

Show the urgency to prove it. If you really think big, do big.
