Pbd's 5 moves for the week
March 13, 2022
1. Reflect

Stay greedy about adding knowledge and your own personal development.

Your Move

Don't miss the conference, blow off the networking meeting, or ignore the book recommendation. One contact or nugget of information could change everything.

2. Stat of the week

Lock on to your winners. That's where you devote most of your energy. You also have to find a way to tame the complainers.

Your Move

If you can't get rid of complainers/victims, show a little more patience and compassion. The right level of attention can neutralize their negativity. The alternative is flaming their fire and allowing their negativity to spread.

3. Strategize

When you start a business, you have 100 percent control and 0 revenue. As you grow, you start to lose control. That's one of the reasons people get scared about making money.

Your Move

You maintain 100 percent control of your work ethic, attitude, people you chose to work with, personal development, listening, integrity, attitude, and HUMILITY. When you focus on those things, the byproduct is you gain more control of the things you can't control (the behavior of others). The other side of this coin is the cockier and sloppier you get, the more control you lose.

4. Read

This timeless quote from Ernest Hemingway's A Farewell to Arms: "The world breaks every one and afterwards many are strong at the broken places."

Your Move

Use your failures and heartbreaks as a test of your strength. When you pass those tests, you grow stronger.

.

5. Perspective

Resilience

Your Move

Keep busting your tail, treating other people right, living by your own principles and values, and GREAT things will happen for you.
