Pbd's 5 moves for the week
March 12, 2023
1. Reflect

If you're obsessed with money, it'll cost you great relationships and bring agony. If you lack respect for money, life will be hard.

Your Move

Attract money by pursuing excellence without having to compromise your values and principles.

2. Stat of the week

The Wall Street Journal reported that mortgage applications from home buyers have slid to the lowest level in 28 years.

Your Move

Whether it's personal or business, you have to have a strategy to adapt to a high-interest environment.

3. Strategize

I get asked all the time why I rarely drink. My answer: Why would I drink? If I drink, I give too much information. I’m not focused. I don’t retain information. I don’t learn. I want every edge I can to make the best decisions at all times.

Your Move

Figure out what you can do to minimize mistakes. Then go deeper and ask: What must I eliminate from my life to reach my full potential?

4. Read

Unreasonable Hospitality: The Remarkable Power of Giving People More Than They Expect by Will Guidara. This book is so important that I called an emergency meeting at Valuetainment to make sure the lessons are being learned and put into action.

Your Move

If you hear about a good book, read it. If reading is not part of your company's culture, you are sending a message that you are happy with where you are now.

5. Perspective

Strong leaders. The biggest danger to society is a weak person in position of power. They don’t just break things; they destroy things. They destroy nations. They destroy riches & wealth. They destroy a great family heritage.

Your Move

Stay involved! Remember that weak leaders have a history of waking up a generation of new leaders. You may be one of them.
