Slow down and listen. You can't speak to someone's dreams if you don't take the time to understand what a person wants and how their personal history led to this dream.
Do you know the value of your time? Have you broken down your week to see exactly how you spend your time and what creates value?
Once you know your hourly "rate", you delegate every activity that costs less than your time. CEOs should not be going to the post office or changing the oil. Every task that you delegate allows you to buy back time to focus on value-added activities.
What are you doing to keep your supporting cast loyal to you? What's your strategy to create retention with the people who are closest to you and do the most to keep you efficient?
People won't stick with you because of money. Don't underestimate the power of showing people that you care. When people are appreciated for their role in the mission, they become flag carriers who will run through walls for you.
