Think about what you are holding back for fear of not being liked. Then ask if you're better off telling the truth and risk being hated or being silent so you don't offend anyone.

Interviews and sales calls are about the sequencing of questions. It's not just what you ask, but when you ask it.

Take the time to think five moves ahead so you can sequence your questions. Walk in the shoes of the other person to understand their motivation and comfort level so you can strategically lead them down a path through a sequence of questions.
