Pbd's 5 moves for the week
January 7, 2023
1. Reflect

Whether you are 22 or 72, you have a clean slate in 2023. Dream big and put in the work to achieve those dreams. Why be average when you can be extraordinary?

Your Move

Take inspiration from Maral (or someone else you look up to) and go for extraordinary! 🔥

2. Stat of the week

Create your company's principles and values using the words I, WE, NEVER. I stands for Personal Responsibility. WE stands for Joint Responsibility NEVER stands for your Non-negotiables

Your Move

Take the time to write down what you stand for. With this clarity, decision making becomes much easier.

3. Strategize

Why do you tell victim stories? Why are you trying to convince the world how hard your life is? What do you gain when you share these stories with others?

Your Move

If you need empathy, get with a close friend or therapist who will hear you out. In business settings, it's one thing to be human and vulnerable. It's another thing (a bad thing) to recruit people to feel sorry for you. Next time you find yourself starting to complain, take responsibility and do something about it.

4. Read

Power vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior by David R. Hawkins. Since you can't be a great leader without being a great psychologist, this is a book I re-read frequently.

Your Move

Read the book and take the time to understand the connection between individual levels of consciousness and human behavior. Every decision we make and every action we take is driven by our level of consciousness.

5. Perspective

Noticing where you have fallen off your goals. That awareness and honesty is the key to getting back on track.

Your Move

If you've fallen off one of your goals, don't beat yourself up for being human. Instead, show your grit by working even harder and building your resolve so it won't happen again.

Future Looks Bright!
