Pbd's 5 moves for the week
February 26, 2023
1. Reflect

I always love it when the person who wins had the biggest trials that year. What differentiates a victim story from a success story is how you react to adversity.

Your Move

Instead of judging others and pointing out their flaws, be vulnerable and share your own flaws.

2. Stat of the week

Want to know who on your team is hungriest and who is next to break out? See how quickly they move at the speed of instruction. I interpret coachability through urgency and massive action.

Your Move

If you want things to change, show it through massive action, not subtle action. When you receive instruction, sprint to the activity that will drive success.

3. Strategize

How do you influence behavior? What buttons do you push to get people to do what's best for them and for your team?

Your Move

Reserve your biggest edification (and rewards) for the most powerful behaviors. If, for example, you only reward sales and say nothing about integrity, you run the risk of a culture of high performers who break rules and take ethical shortcuts.

4. Read

50 Cent giving his take that depression is a luxury.

Your Move

Keep finding new and creative ways to interact with your team. If all they hear is your voice, they will tune you out. That's why you recommend books, videos, and articles that present different perspectives.

5. Perspective

Valuetainers! This movement began with a desire to give you information that I wish I had while I was coming up. Because of your success and hunger to get better, you have been a part of growing Valuetainment and giving us all a voice for our values.

Your Move

Help us spread the movement. If you believe in the power of entrepreneurship and capitalism to solve the world's problems, share this link to the Sunday newsletter and keep working to realize your own destiny.
