Pbd's 5 moves for the week
December 18, 2022
1. Reflect

The reason you attract true believers and keep people in your life comes down to three words: Because I deliver.

Your Move

Keep all your promises. Back up all your words. If this is a struggle, learn to say no more and commit to fewer things. Above all, deliver on what you say.

2. Stat of the week

A business led by a person who is working for money can only grow linearly. If you want exponential growth, you must be on a crusade, correcting an injustice, and/or fighting for your mission.

Your Move

I can't teach you drive. If you are on a mission, you already know your next move. If you don't, instead of looking for motivation or a manual, tap into what moves you emotionally.

3. Strategize

Do you feel overwhelmed? Does the road to success look like the biggest mountain you've seen? That's often a sign that you're much closer than you think.

Your Move

No matter how frustrated you may be with your current progress, you're ONE contact, ONE phone call, ONE referral, or ONE move away from changing your life.

4. Read

A Newsweek article from 2001 about how Tiger Woods dominates. I especially like the part about intimidation.

Your Move

Never, Ever Be Satisfied. Let the world (and your industry) know that you're never going to stop and they will fear you. Talent is great, but nothing can compete with will.

5. Perspective

Solitude. Learn to savor it. You're going to have a lot of family and friends around over the next couple weeks. Find the balance of socializing and taking time for yourself to reflect on your goals and set your intention for 2023 and the decade ahead.

Your Move

Cut the fat on time-wasting people and activities. Focus on your own show that is tied to a vision and a cause. If you want your life to change dramatically, you have to change dramatically. Instead of putting the pressure on luck, put the pressure on you.
