Pbd's 5 moves for the week

1. Reflect

The more talented you are and the fancier pedigree you have, the more you have to be self-deprecating and let people know you're a regular person.

Your Move

If people think you are above them, they either won't connect with you or won't believe they can duplicate your success. That's why you must show that you're a regular person who is vulnerable and doesn't have all the answers.

2. Stat of the week

The first 30 seconds are critical when you give a talk. Your primary goal is to be relatable and make people feel safe. It's the reason I sell people more on a gated community more than on a big house. The message lands on people who are thinking about security and safety for their families.

Your Move

Build rapport, use humor, bring guard down and be relatable all in an effort to make people feel safe. There's no reason to raise your voice. When you have moral authority, you don't have to be loud.

3. Strategize

Are you willing to DISTURB people? If not, I bet you're not a great speaker. leader, or salesperson.

Your Move

If your only goal is to be liked, you won't have the guts to disturb people. Challenging is one thing. Disturbing them is pushing their buttons in a way that gets people to take action.

4. Read

Andrew Tate’s “Goodbye” Message That He Recorded After Being Banned From All Major Social Media Platforms.

Your Move

Study other people in your industry. Have an informed opinion on people like Tate and be able to back it up with facts. Whether you hate the ban or agree with it, do your homework so you can debate your view.

5. Perspective

People willing to run through a wall for you. It's an amazing feeling when people, by choice, will do anything to help you.

Your Move

Earn that feeling. Believe in people more than they believe in themselves. Build a culture of "I'm working for you," and not, "You're working for me."
