Be the person who asks for advice and finds mentors. Be the person who listens more than you talk. Be the person who lets people know that you are hungry for guidance and appreciate being challenged.
Do you think about your audience before every presentation? Are you aware of what moves (emotionally and practically) Boomers, Gen X, millennials, and Gen Z? Or do you sell/present to others based on what you want?
Get out of your own head and shift your focus to what others want. If you want to touch people, you have to first figure out what touches them...and understand that it's different for everyone.

Study everything you can get your hands on. Never stop learning. Leaders are readers, and winners are researchers.
What makes you unique. I had a long talk about duplication with my team. As much as we talk about creating systems to duplicate success, let's not forget that we're not robots and our unique personality is what moves people.
Your story, your embarrassing moments, and your personality are what connects you to people. Be real, be vulnerable, and speak from the heart if you want to move people emotionally.
